Evening was with Y at mediterrenean restaurant, with Taittinger for a start. Reminiscing occupied most of the time, but we were able to find clarity..eventually! after 11 years apart!

Gitzo Carbon Fibre

This is how the 200-400mm looks like mounted on a Gitzo 3530LSV with Markins M-10 ballhead. I went for the 3 section tripod as it is more rigid, albeit less portable. Thanks to Kim for bringing the tripod from Singapore.

This is a close up of the ballhead. It is precise and smooth. No creep whatsoever.
