Tokyo Midtown Sat 2 Aug

Sat was at Tokyo Midtown, a shopping and food mall that is still considered new in Tokyo. It is located near Roppongi, just across from Roppongi Dori (六本木 取り) on 東外苑取り。 It has very nice shops and interesting brands, although can't say the same for the restaurants. There are a variety of restaurants here, from cafes to bars to food courts to restaurants.

Chloe looking gleeful here...in her favourite polka dot dress..Dunno why she has this fascination with Polka Dots.

Chloe showing her dress off.

Lunch was ハヤシ ライス (Hayashi Rice) at the Tokyo Hayashi Rice Club. Hayashi Rice is a Japanese style curry like stew, usually with beef. You can order it sweet, or spicy, up to your taste.

I ordered the 辛口 (Karakuchi or spicy sauce), with たぷり 牛肉 (tappuri gyuniku or plenty of beef) for $14. It was yummy. Chloe had the Hayashi bun, sweet style, of course.

One of the interesting shops here is Noka Chocolate (http://www.nokachocolate.com/) The entrance looks really cool, so are the prices....

An interesting corridor of shops in Midtown... won't look out of place on a spacecraft.

An interesting Japanese art piece on display. I liked the blue, which is brought out by the Olympus 12-60mm SWD lens, quite impressive....

A trinkets shop displaying its ware..
